Eleveight WFS Pro V2

The WFS Pro v2 is Eleveight’s flagship wing, comes equipped with a carbon bar, and is available in the same sizes as the previous version of the WFS Pro, namely 3.5m, 4.5m and 5.5m.

The premium feel is noticeable right from the start. Even the bag reflects high quality through its design and materials. But it’s when we took the wing out that we truly saw the attention to detail that makes this wing stand out.

Let’s begin with the material selection. The WFS frame is built with Aluula Gold, a fabric that delivers exceptional rigidity while keeping the weight impressively low. For the canopy, Eleveight uses a 4×4 yarn construction, reinforced with 6×6 yarn in the trailing edge and high-stress zones for extra durability. The wing also comes equipped with a SUP valve and a one-pump system for the strut, ensuring both convenience and performance.

We were lucky with this test, as we had the gear for an extended test period, allowing us to experience it in a wide range of conditions. Our first session presented classic gusty winds, perfect for putting its low-end grunt, high-end stability and freestyle potential to the test. Right from the moment we lifted the wing to head into the water, the first impression was clear: it feels incredibly light and easy to handle. And that first feeling proved spot-on.

Let’s start with the low end. Thanks to the Aluula frame, the canopy tension and the wing’s shape, the low-end power is excellent. Even in marginal winds, we had no issues waterstarting with our sinker board and 720 foil. Once locked into position, the wing feels comfortable and light, delivering solid upwind performance. Combined, these features make it an easy and enjoyable wing for freeriding and even for pushing into some fast speed runs. We sensed it during those first water-starts and had it confirmed during transitions and jumps: this wing delivers instant, on-demand power. A quick pump or a sharp lock of the wing provides an immediate surge of energy, which we greatly appreciated for saving less-than-perfect landings. Speaking of landings, this brings us to one of the highlights of the WFS: freestyle. The wing generates aggressive, vertical lift with impressive hangtime, which feels even more amplified by its precise handling in the air. Add its natural speed into the mix, and you’ve got a wing that’s an absolute joy for freestyle.

While we didn't have ideal wave conditions during our test period, the wing's behavior during pumping runs confirmed its lightweight and neutral character. It is exceptionally easy to position and handle while gliding, living up to expectations.

One of the WFS’s strongest qualities is how intuitive and user-friendly it feels, making it a solid choice even for beginners. The last point worth highlighting is its high-end performance. While very good, it does demand a bit more skill from the rider. As the wind picks up, the wing becomes faster and more reactive, requiring extra attention. This pays off significantly when jumping, where its speed and reactivity allow for massive airs.

In conclusion, the WFS Pro V2 is a superb all-round wing for the freerider seeking high performance across disciplines. It offers an impressive wind range, exceptional ease of use, powerful and predictable power delivery and explosive lift for freestyle. It stands as a premium, do-it-all choice for the rider who wants one wing to excel at everything.
