The parawing can sometimes be perceived as a highly specialized tool, performing only within a narrow window, technical to master, and reserved for those willing to accept its constraints.

At AFS, we took the time to develop, test, and refine our design to deliver a fresh approach to the discipline.

Today, we are proud to introduce our very first parawing: the AFS STOW.

Positioned at the crossroads of performance and accessibility, it delivers the low-end power needed for effortless take-offs, the upwind speed that demanding riders expect, and the easy packing that makes transitions feel completely natural.

THE WING

A canopy designed for manoeuvrability and lightness. The 2.72 aspect ratio is the best performance / stability / manoeuvrability ratio according to our tests. Same upwind angle, same packing behaviour, same feel underfoot regardless of your STOW size. You only change size based on the wind.

INTUITIVE PACKING

Every detail of the STOW has been designed so that packing and redeployment are as fast and intuitive as possible:

POWER LOOP SYSTEM

Getting started is the most demanding moment in parawing.

By reducing the length of the A/B pre-lines, the Power Loop system lowers the STOW's pull while maintaining excellent stability and upwind angle. Getting started becomes more accessible, and upwind riding more comfortable. It gives access to the full low-end range of the STOW from the first few metres while maintaining excellent riding comfort.

In powered conditions, once airborne, the Power loop can be easily engaged to boost riding comfort with or without a harness. The system extends the high end for long, comfortable upwind legs.

More power available, less fatigue accumulated, and ever longer sessions.
