New 2027 Starboard VIVA Wing

Starboard’s 2nd Gen of the VIVA Wing is here!

VIVA 2ND GEN PERFORMANCE

Stiffer, faster and more responsive — the VIVA returns for its 2nd generation.

Refined shaping delivers more forward drive, lift and control, while the new Tool-Free Anchor Boom system creates an exceptionally direct and rigid feel, replacing screws with bomb-proof Dyneema for a more convenient and secure connection.

Available in two distinct new constructions to suit different riders: 1) H2 Reflex – Ultra-light, ultra-responsive and podium-ready // 2) Carbon Frame – Versatile, rigid and accessible.

Now available for pre-order.

NEW TOOL-FREE ANCHOR BOOM CONNECTION

NEW TOOL-FREE ANCHOR BOOM CONNECTION

Incorporating the latest Tool-free Anchor boom connection system delivering maximum stiffness and immediate response without the need for any tools or hardware thanks to its unique load spreading, moulded anchor and innovative Dyneema locking mechanism.

OPTIMISED LEADING EDGE TAPER

An updated leading edge taper ratio smoothens the transition between airframe segments for the best balance between rigidity, stability and aerodynamic efficiency.

FORWARD-DRIVING PROFILE

FORWARD-DRIVING PROFILE

An updated forward-shifted profile boosts forward drive and reduces backhand pressure, while improving top-end control, lift and overall efficiency.

STREAMLINED CANOPY LAYOUT

A cleaner, more streamlined panel layout with fewer seams reduces weight and improves aerodynamic efficiency, while the unified rear Ultra-X panel increases durability and load distribution in high-stress areas. Maintains the proven progressive gradient load philosophy, transitioning from flexible Aeroflex 55 in the luff to highly resistant Ultra-X in the aft canopy.

STREAMLINED VERTICAL WINDOWS

STREAMLINED VERTICAL WINDOWS

The Viva features new vertically aligned windows positioned alongside the strut for clear, direct downwind visibility. The H2 Reflex uses a streamlined single-window layout to maximise canopy performance, while the Carbon Frame features dual vertical windows for increased visibility and everyday usability.
