Electrify your ride – North X Foil Drive

North & Foil Drive have teamed up to bring new electrifying sessions to life… introducing the Electrified Foil Assist Integrated Mast. 

Together with Foil Drive, we’ve engineered the AF80 Sonar Integrated Foil Drive Mast, combining our aluminium foil mast with the Foil Drive Technology for reduced drag, improved ride feel, and enhanced efficiency. Watch the video down below to see the product in action.

WHAT MAST DO I NEED?

The Masts have a Foil Drive Motor Pod pre-installed at one of three positions. The greater the distance the motor pod is from your board, the more electric assistance it will provide while you’re foiling.

The FDE-FOIL offers a complete E-Foil experience with the motor positioned near the fuselage, while an FDA20 and FDA15 are positioned as a “Foil Assist” with the motor closer to the board. The motor generates thrust to provide enough speed to lift up onto foil, and when the motor exits the water, your foil takes over.

	It’s play-time Purchase your Sonar FD Integrated Mast pre-assembled with a Foil Drive Motor from a Foil Drive retailer, and complete your assisted foiling setup with a Sonar Front Wing / Fuse / Stab. We recommend the SF Series, MAv2 Series and DW Series Front Wings.
