Building on the success of the Skipper DW Prone and insights from the global Appletree rider community, the Skipper Midlength fills a gap in the lineup. This is not just another board, it's the evolved answer to a growing need for speed, agility, and cross-discipline performance.

Designed for riders across the spectrum:

● Smaller sizes are tuned for prone foilers and advanced wing/para-wing users. Also ideal for foil assist setups without fully committing to the Zapple.
● Mid-range sizes strike the perfect balance for all-around wing and parawing use. Nimble, responsive, with superb low end for the volume.
● Larger sizes come alive in light wind conditions, delivering maximum glide, lift, and fun.

A Shape That Feels Alive

The Skipper Midlength is built around a displacement hull, inspired by the glide of a canoe. It cuts through water with ease, accelerates effortlessly, and offers early takeoff potential even in marginal conditions. Perfect for marginal conditions where speed and glide are key, but it’s equally at home in bigger and more demanding conditions in the open ocean as well as flat water. This board allows you to make the most of every moment.

Performance-Driven Design Upgrades:

● Extended hard rails for cleaner water release and improved water release at takeoff.
● Extra tail rocker to eliminate tail drag during turns and chop
● Narrower outline for better efficiency + keeps the board out of the water in hard carves.
● Forward foil box for reduced swing weight and a shorter, more playful feel on foil
● Y-strap inserts & plush deck pads come standard for convenience and control
