IN SYNC – Two Brothers, One Passion

Austrian twin brothers and Duotone Foiling team riders are redefining freestyle wing foiling… talk about a dynamic duo!

Aleks and Tom Acherer, 17-year-old twins from Innsbruck/Austria, have quickly risen to the top of the Wing Foiling world. Starting just three years ago as cross-training for their freestyle skiing careers, they’ve become known for their fearless tricks and creative style.

In 2023, they relocated to Tarifa, Spain, to maximize water time and joined online schooling to balance education with their training. Despite Aleks facing a skiing injury early in the season, both brothers ended the 2024 GWA Freestyle World Tour in the Top 10, with Tom finishing 3rd and Aleks 10th. The season’s highlight was their podium sweep in Brazil, with Tom taking 1st and Aleks 2nd – well done again to both!
Their journey is a testament to passion and determination—names to watch in the world of Freestyle Wing Foiling!
