Homecoming

A return to home that has a deeper meaning for North Foil's Noé Cantaloube…

After three years away from home, Noé finally returns to his roots in French Polynesia. Unable to travel back for years, this journey marked more than just a trip, it was a long-awaited homecoming.

Accompanied by his close friend and videographer Eric Wittkopf, Noé documented the return to the islands that shaped him. Only this time, he is back with his foil. Homecoming is a film about reconnecting with family, culture, and places. It captures daily life on the islands, the raw beauty of French Polynesia, and the deep emotional pull of returning home after time away. Through intimate moments and sweeping landscapes, the film tells Noé’s personal story, and offers a glimpse into what makes island life so unique.

This is a story about roots, belonging, and the power of coming back.
