HIDDEN GEMS – Wing Foiling Across Southern Brazil

Duotone wing team riders decided to buck the trend and head south rather than north to escape the crowds. If you've read the article in issue 23 of Foiling Magazine, you'll have a little background to this trip already 😉

When thinking of Brazil’s best wind spots, the northeast — home to Fortaleza, Cumbuco, and Jericoacoara — usually steals the spotlight. But we ventured south to Ibiraquera to put our new Float wave wing to the test in uncharted waters.

Our team — Nia Suardiaz, Wesley Brito, Finn Spencer, fresh from the GWA Wave World Tour final, and Stefan Spiessberger — set out to explore beyond the competition scene. For many, it was their first time in Ibiraquera, and excitement was high to uncover what southern Brazil had to offer.
