Fliteboard becomes the first eFoil to cross English Channel

Fliteboard makes history…

At 1.16 p.m. UK time on Thursday 12th August, Fliteboard customer (turned investor) Rob Wylie landed in Folkstone UK to became the first person to eFoil across the English Channel. Rob’s son Morgan landed shortly after, with both riders completing the 37.8km ride from France on one battery charge. The Fliteboard family duo navigated currents, seaweed, swell and ships to complete the ride in 1 hour 39 minutes, with Rob landing with just 4% of his battery remaining! Huge congratulations to Rob and Morgan, with special thanks to UK Fliteboard partner OTC Watersports for their support! This is another amazing #flitefirst and a great example of the efficiency, range, reliability and durability of Fliteboard.
