Way to go Hugo!
Hugo Wigglesworth recently set himself the challenge of breaking his own dock start pumping record set 29 November 2021 at a little over 10 minutes! He absolutely smashed that with an incredible 17minute 15 second marathon pump. Launching himself by simply jumping from the side of a stationary inflatable dingy onto his board off Stanmore Bay on the Whangaparoa Peninsular, Auckland New Zealand. Documented from both the boat and from the beach by friends and family, Hugo demonstrates a master class in flat water pumping, going around the bay non-stop for a little over 17 minutes. His heart rate averaged 176 bpm, peaking at 199. Here at AXIS we think achievements like this shouldn’t go unnoticed, we’re in awe and so inspired by Hugo’s grit and determination – Well done mate!
