Mathis Ghio joins Ocean Rodeo

Ocean Rodeo unveil the first recruit to their new wing division…

The recent launch of our ALUULA-powered Glide wing range demanded a pro rider who could compliment these cutting-edge new high-performance machines… So, it’s with great excitement that we welcome French rider Mathis Ghio as the first member of the Ocean Rodeo wing team.

Following a successful GWA event in Switzerland, the former youth windsurf world champion is now rocketing up the global rankings, with his competitive background, progressive style, and the power of the ALUULA composite material in our new Glide wings giving him that extra edge as he pushes forward toward his goal of getting to the very top…

“At only 18, Mathis is also a Youth World Windsurfing Champion. We're very excited to see how far Mathis can take it on the GWA Wing Pro Tour. Not only is Mathis a great rider, he also has a keen sense of equipment tuning and has been providing fantastic feedback to the Ocean Rodeo R&D team already…” – Richard Myerscough, Ocean Rodeo CEO

Be sure to follow Mathis as he continues his march to the podium at the GWA’s Wingfoil World Tour…

Find out more about Mathis on his Instagram and Team Rider Page.
