FOILING SETUP
The wingfoiling spots in Dahab are independent of the tides and have direct access to deep water. Fantastic mountain scenery and a safe lagoon make Dahab a top spot for wingfoiling in Egypt, suitable for beginners to pro riders, with a safe shallow lagoon with flat water, and rolling waves and swell in the Gulf of Aqaba (open sea). The center combines reliable Red Sea wind with excellent safety, professional instruction, and relaxed comfort, making it the top choice for progressing your riding or simply enjoying long, effortless sessions.
WHEN IS BEST TO GO
The best time for wingfoiling in Dahab is from March until November, but even in winter months there are still more than 50% windy days. Dahab enjoys flat water inside the bay and waves in the open ocean, and benefits from warm temperatures, sunny days, and reliable Red Sea winds ideal for all levels.
NO WIND?
If there’s no wind for foiling, visitors can explore the coral reefs through snorkeling or diving, enjoy boat trips, or relax on beaches. SUP, take desert or Bedouin excursions, visit local markets, or enjoy cafes and waterfront dining. Spa treatments and yoga sessions are available locally and provide a more relaxed option.
Fly into Sharm El Sheikh (SSH), about 1 hour by transfer. Transfers easily arranged.
3m-6m wings. 100-155L boards for beginners/flat water days, smaller freeride/foil boards for performance when the wind picks up.

A local beer (0.5L) tends to cost about €1.10 to €1.30.
