North and Foil Drive’s latest electric-assisted foiling developments are set to redefine rider performance and experience this season. Introducing the UHM80 Carbon Foil Drive Integrated Mast and the new Boost Foil Drive Board, engineered for rapid lift, maximum efficiency and stability in the surf, on flat water, and the open ocean.
The UHM80 Carbon Mast combines ultra-high modulus carbon construction with advanced hydrodynamic optimisation to lift riders onto the foil quickly and keep them flying. The ultra low-drag design maximises glide, sharpens turning response, and smooths out the ride feel, delivering extended battery runtime.

Paired with the new Boost board’s innovative features, this is the upgrade that will change your Foil Drive experience.
Deceptively light, the Boost is built from multiple lightweight e-glass layers and wrapped in full PVC, merging high durability with optimal 2.4GHz remote signal performance, even during duck dives. Boards in sizes 4’9 to 5’3 come with a recessed super-trench and DropBox mounting track, allowing the Foil Drive unit to nest within the hull. The trench design not only reduces drag and saves battery power, but also enables quick battery swaps without removing the entire unit. By positioning the battery weight closer to your feet, the Boost delivers enhanced stability, refined carving and pumping, and more agile wave riding—all with smoother touchdown recovery.
