Manta5 Hydrofoiler XE-1

We just got word that the new Hydrofoiler XE-1 water eBike is now heading into production. Exciting new way to get from beach to beach or just a little cruise up the coast! Here's the specs…

  • The Hydrofoiler XE-1 allows for 60 minutes of riding time.
  • It has a 460 watt motor and waterproof eBike battery.
  • The bike weighs 29 kilograms (foils included).
  • The maximum speed currently achievable on the Hydrofoiler XE-1 is 22kmh (11 knots).
  • If you stop pedalling in the water or fall down, you are able to re-launch by performing a submerged launch to begin riding again.
  • Easy transportation: its modular design means it is able to fit into the back of a car and can also be transported using a roof or bike rack.
  • Handles ocean chop and moderate swell well.

Delivery of the Hydrofoiler XE-1 to international customers begins in April 2020, and pre-sales are currently open in New Zealand, United Kingdom, Europe, and the USA, with Manta5 then looking to open up sales worldwide.
