The Transpac Wing Project

Man sets out to wing across the Pacific…

This video outlines the TransPac Wing Project, which starts June 2021 – what it's about, what's involved and getting public support for the project to help get it on the startline. Author, speaker and conservationist Chris Bertish is setting out to be the first person to Wing-foil across any ocean, completely alone and unsupported. The journey he seeks is more than 2850 miles, from Half Moon Bay in California to Oahu in Hawaii. Once this project gets funded and gets to the start line in June, it will be used as a platform to raise money and awareness for ocean conservation, education and sustainability projects, like the Conservation International, the 2 Oceans Aquarium and Operation Smile. The Charity fundraising will all be run through the Chris Bertish Foundation 501 3C.
