Static Flow

Intrigued by a cell phone video featuring a flawless standing wave within a tidal rapid, Lift Foil's Brian Grubb, Isaac Levinson, and Matt Elsasser embark on a quest to investigate its potential for foiling. Their pursuit takes them deep into coastal Canada, chasing the extreme tides of the full moon. Upon arrival, the rapid unveils its foiling canvas, reaffirming the team's belief that in the world of foiling, the only limit is your imagination.

This story is covered in more depth in a Brian Grubb double bill, coming in issue 19 soon.

Film by Myles Cameron.
