In our latest video, Sam Light and Fred Hope take a trip to Dakhla, Morocco, home to wind, desert, and one of the cleanest right-handers we’ve seen. The goal: ride good waves and film a few sessions that capture what wing foiling looks like at its best.
The Location:
West Point is a reef close to Dakhla that works best on medium swell and steady wind. The wave peels for hundreds of meters and lines up perfectly for long, down-the-line foiling. The crew timed it right and scored back-to-back days of rideable swell and warm conditions.
The Vibe:
No fanfare, no crowds, just two riders and a remote setup with plenty of room to move. If you’re into travel sessions that highlight good waves and smooth riding over high production edits, this is one you’ll probably enjoy.
