Founded ten years ago in Puerto Rico by father and son team, Nicholas and Michael Leason, Lift is a premium hydrofoil brand dedicated to innovation in both performance and technology. This documentary tells the story of the brand and their flagship eFoil product, in the voice of the team and their collaborators.
Lift was the first to patent eFoil technology. Inspired by advances in lithium battery technology and wireless communication, the eFoil is a mix of surfing, flying, and deep powder snowboarding. A powerful, silent, electric motor, a state-of-the art battery, and high-performance boards, foils, and wings, combine to allow riders of all athletic capacities the opportunity to fly above any body of water, without needing to be propelled by wind or waves.
