Kite v’s Wingfoil v’s Sailing Team

It's all on the line as Tom Court puts windsports to the test…

This is a top gear style race between a kite foil, wing foil and the Ryde school sailing team to demonstrate the potential of foils in sailing and also the different forms of power that the wind can create. The advantages of kite power over traditional sails and a great testament that kites, wings and boats are able to compete together… I think that it is so important to implement more sports into modern education because there is so much opportunity in these fringe industries to expand and provide fun loving jobs into the future!! So it was a great pleasure to be able to do a project like this whilst at home on the Isle of Wight.
