Introducing the Vyper

Meet Unifoils new Australian-made wing…

Our goal at Unifoil has been the same since day one. To engineer the world's fastest, most hi-performance hydrofoils. To accomplish this, we require two aspects.

1 – The most advanced designs and

2 – The highest quality construction standards

We needed to give our designs the consistency, strength, and stiffness they deserve. In order to achieve the best performance, the materials, finishing, and composite engineering need to be at the highest standards. Unfortunately, the kind of consistent quality we require is not currently available in China, where 95% of hydrofoils are produced.

We feel as a company the time has come to move away from poorly skilled workers in low-quality factories, and towards sustainable production in our own backyards, supporting local workers and manufacturers. Almost none of the Chinese workers have ever seen or even heard of the sport of Hydrofoiling, or have any qualifications in composite engineering. Often working in illegal factories using low-quality materials and not even according to the requested manufacturing specs.

For this reason, we have unanimously decided as a team to completely move away from Chinese manufacturing, and bring our production back to the west, where we can achieve our first world production standards. Further, from this point onwards, all Unifoil Hydrofoils will be personally finished, assembled, tested and quality controlled by our team of foilers in our HQ in Australia prior to shipping, with Clifford in SA still designing and testing new models with our team.

Unifoil – Made and designed by foilers, for foilers.
