INBOUND: Aerofoils Hyperfly

Aerofoils have always done a fantastic job of combining fun with a good helping of style. Their new Hyperfly convertible e-foil scooter is the perfect example of this… We pitched a few questions their way to find out more.

First up, tell us how the new Hyperfly system works.

The Hyperfly system offers an exhilarating water adventure with a focus on safety and user-friendliness. The intuitive design and market-leading handle concept make it effortless to control, whether you're riding as a scooter or an e-foil. Equipped with a revolutionary Anti-Breach System, it anticipates and alerts riders to unexpected breaches or shootouts, ensuring a secure experience on the water.

You’re not the first e-foil into the market with handles. What separates you from your competitors?

Hyperfly stands out with its combination of an inflatable electric hydrofoil with the unique Aerofoils Jet and a convertible handle system, offering unmatched versatility. The seamless integration of safety features like the Anti-Breach System and accessories such as the drybag and water bottle holder further enhance its appeal, setting a new standard in personal water mobility.

Was it challenging to engineer a convertible system between scooter and e-foil?

Engineering the convertible system between a scooter and an e-foil was a significant challenge. Ensuring a smooth transition required innovative design and rigorous testing to maintain stability and performance in both modes. The result is a product that combines the best of both worlds, providing a versatile and enjoyable ride.

Is this a good option for e-foil beginners who are just starting their foil journey?

Yes, Hyperfly is an excellent option for e-foil beginners. Its intuitive design and user-friendly controls make it easy for new riders to get started. The index-finger throttle offers better control and sensitivity than the common thumb throttle. The left-side power button lets you switch gears without removing your hands from the handlebars, creating a seamless and easy driving experience. This offers simple control and advanced support, ensuring a smooth learning curve and an enjoyable experience right from the start.

What kind of speeds are achievable with the Hyperfly? (And what would you recommend?!)

Hyperfly can achieve impressive speeds, catering to both thrill-seekers and those who prefer a more leisurely ride. While the exact top speed can vary based on conditions and rider weight, it is designed to deliver a fast and exciting experience. For beginners, it's recommended to start at lower speeds and gradually increase as they become more comfortable and confident.

It looks like a lot of fun. Is this something families can use together?

Absolutely, Hyperfly is designed for family fun. Its versatility, ease of use, and safety features make it suitable for users of all ages and skill levels. Families can enjoy exploring water adventures together, with each member finding joy and excitement in riding the Hyperfly.
